Workshop on Collective Intelligence and Crowd / Social Computing 

The Workshop on Collective Intelligence and Crowd / Social Computing is a special interest group (SIG) in methodology and technology related to Collective Intelligence and Crowd / Social Computing under the Tenth International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS 2015).
It aims to facilitate technology and knowledge exchange between International researchers/scholars in the topics related to Collective Intelligence and Crowd / Social Computing. The workshop will cover a broad range of research topics including the following, but are not limited to:
Animal collective behavior
Collective intelligence in plants and non humans
Collective Intelligence in the new journalism
Collective memory
Collective response to environmental constraints
Collective robustness, resilience, and stability
Collective search and problem solving
Computational models of group search and optimization

Paper Submission

Regular papers, written in English, need to be formatted according to the AISC (Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing) format with maximum of 12 pages, The submission URL is

Papers must be submitted electronically as PDF files and must not be published or under consideration to be published elsewhere. The KICSS 2015 Post-Proceedings will be published in the Springer Series: Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC), ISSN 2194-5357, indexed by ISI Proceedings, SCOPUS, Zentralblatt Math, Ulrich's, EI-Compendex, DBLP, MetaPress, Springerlink ( The Post-Proceedings will contain all the revised and extended regular papers and a considerable extension.

Special Issue

A number of selected papers will be considered to publish in a special issue of a journal with impact factor.
