Welcome Message from the Program Chairs

The 2016 Workshop on Human Language Technology and Intelligent Applications (HLT-IA 2016) is established under the 25th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-2016) on July 9, 2016 in New York, USA, to provide an international forum for academic staffs and researchers to share their new ideas, original research results and practical development experiences in the area of human language technology and intelligent applications. After reviews of at least three technical committee members, seven papers were accepted for presentation at the workshop.

We greatly appreciate the support from various institutions, including SIIT, Thammasat University, Thailand National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Dubin City University and Tokyo Institute of Technology. We wish to thank all authors in HLTIA 2016 for their contribution and support. Finally we appreciate the IJCAI 2016 workshop organizing committee members for their kind collaboration and support. We hope all participants took this opportunity to share and exchange ideas with the others and enjoyed HLTIA 2016 at IJCAI 2016 in New York, USA.
